Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to help with both pre-sales and post-sales support of our next generation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
The right candidate for this position has extensive knowledge of databases (structures, programming, and communication), experience with programming, and a general knowledge of Configuration Management practices. Qualifications: Applicants should have 2+ years of experience in software application support (preferably in the product lifecycle management industry) and a degree in Computer/Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of the Omnify product lifecycle management (PLM) system
- Work closely with customers to set up best business practices, workflows, policies, rules, etc.
- Training of the Omnify PLM system
- Development of integrations between Omnify and other systems such as ERP
- Develop reports, interfaces, validation scripts, etc.
- Travel is required
