Cynosure, Inc., the Westford, MA-based leading developer and manufacturer of a broad array of light-based aesthetic treatment systems, deployed Omnify PLM to streamline its product design and manufacturing processes in order to shorten development time, collaborate with suppliers, and speed new product turnaround time.

Cynosure required a solution that enabled centralized storage of its product documentation such as bill of materials and design drawings, electronic processing of engineering change orders (ECOs), and secure access to product information for external suppliers.

Omnify's unique ability to directly integrate with Cynosure's mechanical design environment, SolidWorks software, and electrical design environment, OrCAD, have helped to greatly decrease the time required for documenting change as well as significantly increase the quality and accuracy of product data.
