Breakout sessions provide a forum for Omnify Users to participate in small, focused workshops to enhance their use of the Omnify system. Training sessions are comprised of small groups to meet User's specific needs and create an optimal learning environment. Session attendees will gain a better understanding of key functions to make their job easier as well as take away valuable material to share with colleagues and facilitate applying what was learned within their own Omnify environment.

This session will review commonly overlooked features of the Change Order form that can make your life easier as well as provide other useful “tips and tricks” to improve your Change Management processes.

FDA Compliance Session Back to top
Many of our Medical Device customers have recently completed their FDA compliance audits/validations. Learn from their experiences and how they were able to effectively configure Omnify to pass their audits. This is a great opportunity learn from your peers and share experiences about Medical Device compliance/validation and other topics important to this industry.
 
This session will be lead by customer Jeff Steward, Director of IT, PLC Medical Systems. Jeff will cover how PLC Medical designed and executed a validation protocol to meet various FDA and ISO compliance requirements. In addition to his presentation, Mr. Steward will provide electronic copies of PLC's validation protocol and regulatory requirements matrix document for attendees to use as a starting point for their own compliance efforts.

ITAR Compliance Session Back to top
Network with other Omnify customers required to meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance. A growing number of customers working in the Military industry are looking to Omnify to support their ITAR compliance requirements. Use this session as an opportunity to network with other Omnify customers required to meet ITAR compliance and how they are leveraging or plan to leverage Omnify to meet compliance. Share your practices, ideas, questions and concerns.

RoHS Compliance Session Back to top
Omnify provides features to help customers manage product data for RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance. Some customers have been using the Omnify system to meet RoHS compliance since the introduction of the Directive in 2006. Attend this session to learn how your peers are leveraging Omnify to meet the growing RoHS compliance requirements and to help you set up or enhance a compliant process within Omnify at your organization.
 
This session will be lead by customer Rebecca Young-Jones, Director, Supply Chain Management, Mintera Corporation. Rebecca will demonstrate how Mintera uses Attributes and other features in Omnify to successfully track and manage RoHS compliance information.

Integration: Data sharing with Engineering and Business Systems I and II Back to top
Omnify Empower provides an open integration platform to easily integrate with CAD/CAE tools and business systems such as ERP. You will learn how integrations can be setup, learn what type of data customers commonly share, and see examples of integrations that customers have set up. This topic is broken up into two sessions. The first covering engineering integration and the second covering ERP/business system integration. *Some programming knowledge required for session II.

Working with Omnify Support: Best Approach for Closing Your Cases Back to top
Understanding Omnify Support resources can help you get the information or help you need quickly and effectively. Attendees will learn how to access and use the Customer Support Portal, search the Knowledge Base to quickly find solutions, and learn the best approach to working with Omnify Support to get answers to your questions and close your cases. This session will also include an overview of the new Omnify HelpDesk feature that customers can use to manage internal questions and knowledge sharing.

One-on-One Tech Lab Back to top
The Tech Lab provides an opportunity for Omnify Users to work one-on-one with Omnify Technical Support Staff. The Tech Lab will have computers available for a hands-on experience. You can bring your question or issue that you would like to address on a USB key. There will be scheduled times during the day when the Lab is focused on a specific topic and Support Staff will be answering questions specific to that topic. When a topic is not scheduled, it is open for general discussion. The Tech Lab is open all day and does not require pre-registration.
